President Buhari meets with Gov. Wike behind closed-doors

                

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a closed-door meeting with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesome Wike at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, Daily Trust reports.

The Governor was said to have arrived Aso Rock at about 2.00 pm.

The purpose of their meeting was however unclear as at the time of filing this report.

Wike, who is a member of the main opposition party, People's Democratic Party (PDP) had on several occasions criticised the Buhari administration, especially his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi, who is now the Minister of Transport under the current administration.
