Senator Shehu
Sani, representing Kaduna Central at the Nigerian senate, on Friday, May
20, 2016, said that Governor Nasir Elrufai of Kaduna State is using the
All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state to fight him.
Senator Sani’s reaction is coming on the
heels
of the alleged plan by the APC to expel him from the party following his continuous attack and criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari.
of the alleged plan by the APC to expel him from the party following his continuous attack and criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The senator said undermining his support
for President Buhari, he will continue to say the truth and correct
observed ills in the system.
He said he will always be on the part of
the people of Nigeria, maintaining that he will remain unperturbed in
the midst of the threats against him by the APC in Kaduna State.
Senator Sani said the APC in Kaduna
State is an extension of the state government house, even as he
condemned the threat to expel him from the party over his criticism for
Buhari’s anti-people policies, especially the recent increase in the
price of fuel.
He alleged that the press conference
held by the party’s publicity secretary, one Tano Wusonu was the
handiwork of Governor El Rufai.
According to him, “The said Tanko Wusono
is the special assistant to El-Rufai’s commissioner for local
government Bashir Saidu at the same time member of Kaduna internal
revenue board.
“El-Rufai is cowardly to directly confront Sen Sani and resort to using Buhari’s name to fight his domestic battles.”
