John Odigie Oyegun, APC National Chairman
The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie-Oyegun, has urged Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State to resolve the conflict between him and his predecessor, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Mr. Odigie-Oyegun spoke on Tuesday when a delegation of executives from the state chapter of APC paid a courtesy call to the APC national secretariat in Abuja.
The governor and his predecessor have been
embroiled in a bitter row in recent weeks.
“This is an internal matter between two friends, between two brothers and these differences unfortunately have developed between them,” Mr. Odigie-Oyegun said.
“All of us, all the party, the totality of the party must unite behind our chief executives, the president and the governors. So, we are going to do everything we can to resolve the issue amicably,” Mr. Odigie-Oyegun said.
The leader of the delegation and Chief Whip, Kano State House of Assembly, Ado Doguwa, said they were at the secretariat at the behest of the people of Kano State.
“What we did was present to you this document which is the resolution of the State Working Committee of our party.
